I shall hopefully be back soon with lots of comments (under a cut of course). I even have a special notebook reserved to right down comments.

OMG IT'S ALMOST HERE!

I have come to one conclusion about this book:

If Remus Lupin dies, I will cry.

If he does die, I'll be so sad, but at least he'll be with his friends. One the other hand, HE'LL BE DEAD! :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

My tear ducts are all ready for this.

OotP Reading Blog

Sorry for the spam.

I've decided to keep a log for reading Order of the Phoenix, because, siriusly, if I don't, I'll never read it. So I'll update every time I read a chapter.

5:45- created this reading log
5:46- gets a drink and procrastinates
5:49- started reading
6:30- Finished chapter 1. Only took me 4o minutes.
6:40- left to make breakfast (a.k.a. procrastinate)
7:00- returned from breakfast. (cheesy eggs, bacon, and Madagascar Tea. What more could a girl ask for?)
7:16- Finished breakfast. Started chapter 2. Listened to Spice Girls.
7:50- Finished Chapter 2. 29 minutes.
7:57- Started Chapter 3.
8:35- Finished Chapter 3. 38 minutes.
8:40- Started Chapter 4.
8:45- Stopped reading Ootp. Read Newspaper. Made more tea.
11:30- Apparently decided to stop reading for now.

Okay, I have to stop here, because I'm going out in a little bit to the science museum, because they're doing 'Magic for Muggles' or something like that. Like I said before, I'm only there for the house sorting.

St. Patrick's Mini-Challenge

The day of the party and the deadline is 3/24/06 (this Saturday).

The rules for the party is to bring a gift, and I wanted to clarify something. The challenge is optional and, if you write it, it can also double as your gift, though it's preferable if you didn't.

Edit: The gift doesn't have to be St. Patty's day related. Obviously, if you use the challenge as your gift, it has to be.

R.I.P Austin</center>

Oh jeez, I'm cying now.

There's a bullentin board at my school where you can post notes and letters to Austin. I haven't read them, because I know I'll burst out crying, but it's scary knowing how many of his friends he had at my school and how they're all affected. It makes me worry about my friends.

Yeah, he did go to a diffrent school, but it's amazing how many kids he knew here.

Everyone needs to look at this!

Copied from [info]mochibuni.

"All icon makers should know about this.

Hell, anyone who posts pictures on their LJ (or anywhere on LJ) should know about this.

Copy and Pasted from [info]chibihalo's post at [info]powerpuffgirlsz:

"There's a thief out there who has found a way to automatically snag things from the LJ picture feed without regard to who (s)he is stealing from or what they are stealing. No credit is being given at all for any of the icons being taken and people posting comments there do not care things are being stolen. All they seem to care about is laughing at people who are demanding this person take the icons down. Just today I found one of my icons on that community so I'm very certain there are icons from others in this very community out there. Also, it seems it's not just icons too it's people's pictures so any related community that posts personal photos should take the same steps as the iconists. Here's the information and what you can do about it as found on [info]book_icons.

There is a post here in icon_extras about a community called iconscraper. Not only does the owner, samplebitch, troll the LiveJournal picture feed for icons, (s)he also hotlinks all the images that the feed finds.

I never realized that you could make an RSS feed that requests all the icons that are posted on LJ public posts, whether it be in communities or personal journals. This person has a program that will automatically nab any and all icons that are used and they put them in the community with no care for what the subject matter is. Their mentality is that if you don't want someone stealing personal pictures of yourself, your family, or your children...you don't belong putting them on the Internet and it's your own damn fault so live with it.

There IS a way to prevent this from happening...

1. Open up adminconsole. http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/
2. For personal Journals, copy/paste the following: set latest_optout yes.
3. For communities, copy/paste the following: set "for" COMMUNITYNAME latest_optout yes.(where it says COMMUNITYNAME, delete that and type in the name of your community)"

Yes, this is supposed to be a public post.

Because of this post (#7), that led to this:

"Tom Jones, 789-9067," Alan Rickman's deep sensual voice sounded from the stereo system, "Susan Green, 456-9875," each delectable decibel, vibrating through the walls, making him sound as if he was right there.

Laurel sighed, lying her head down on the pillow, listening to his juicy voice, wishing he was right there, wishing he would say her name and read her number.
